This exhibition revolves around the threshold of the subconscious and emotions, seeking to capture those fleeting and indefinable sensations. Rationality and logic in daily life are like ripples on the surface, while what truly drives our feelings and actions is the deeper undercurrent. In this realm, ambiguity, uncertainty, and contradiction intertwine, lingering at the edge— capable of condensing into strength or dissolving into chaos.
The figures and colors within the works oscillate between attraction and repulsion, producing an experience both perilous and seductive. They drift between order and imbalance, creating a continuous tension. In dialogue with the works, viewers are not only stirred by the environment, events, and rhythms of the city, but also compelled to confront the fissures and surges within themselves.
As suggested in In Praise of Shadows, beauty often emerges in the half-light, in the space between clarity and obscurity. Likewise, this exhibition unfolds in such an ambiguous atmosphere: the external world and the inner world act upon each other while also resisting one another, generating a space of
concealment and revelation. It is within these shadows that the subconscious gradually takes form, drawing viewers into an unavoidable psychological confrontation.
