Born in Kanagawa, Japan, currently lives in Oita, Japan.
Formed the art group “Genjitsu(Reality)” in 2018 and broke up in 2020. In the same year, participates in a residency at the Rijksakademie in the Netherlands, completing in 2022. Suzuki explores the essence of artistic expression using a transversal method through certain events, histories, and contexts. Selected works include “To the Farthest One” (Gallery COEXIST-TOKYO, 2017), a video installation mourning the former owner of the house Suzuki moved to, and “The Missing Canvas Project,” a project that began when a giant canvas installed outdoors was stolen ( Rijksakademie, 2020-2022), and others. Major solo exhibitions include Work in progress (2022, MuseumEICAS, Deventer, NL), etc.
