Born in Gifu in 1999, currently based in Tokyo.My practice explores ways to preserve and reactivate the pure sensibilities of childhood. I set “traps to capture myself,” drawing my perception back into that fresh state. Taking inspiration from aspects of “living” in my own life—ranging from essential everyday tools to playful objects whose very necessity can be questioned—I create works interwoven with personal episodes. At its core, my practice is a dialogue with myself.
