Ayane Tominaga

Born in 1992, Ayane Tominaga is an artist based between the UK and Japan. They graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2019. Working primarily in installation, they create sound and spatial works incorporating interactive elements, alongside sculpture, drawing, and collage. Their practice investigates how the subject-object dualism that emerged with modernity has shaped contemporary relations between humans and non-humans, place, and history. They will begin an MFA at the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford, in autumn 2026.
