Pastizal Zamudio

Pastizal Zamudio (b. 1991, Mexicali, Baja, California, Mexico) lives and works in Mexicali/Southern-Oregon. An artist and a practitioner of curatorial practices based in houses and apartments, they primarily work on process-based artistic experimental research focused on landscape observation, spectral choreography and minimum flow reverberation circuits. Pastizal is also a 35mm film maker and a short-poetry writer.

They work stems from the spiritual and terrestrial interrelatedness of objects and spaces. Often working in site-specific installations, they explore the emotional language of architecture and its interaction with inhabitants.
